We’re hiring a Content Lead to build and own the content engine that defines Bunkerhill’s category in healthcare.
This is not a traditional content marketing role. You will not be handed a content calendar or asked to execute against pre-defined briefs. Your role is to take real customer and product signal and translate it into a consistent stream of high-quality content aligned with the core themes, narratives, and messages we want to drive as a company.
You will work closely with customers, forward-deployed engineers, and company leadership to extract insights and turn them into content across formats—case studies, thought leadership, social, webinars, video, and more. You will also own distribution, ensuring that what we produce shows up in the market and drives visibility.
We care less about hitting a fixed number of posts and more about building a repeatable engine that makes Bunkerhill feel present, relevant, and inevitable in this category.
This is a high-ownership role. You will define how content gets created, how it gets distributed, and how the system improves over time.
Own end-to-end creation of content across formats: case studies, thought leadership, social, webinars, video, and more
Work directly with customers to extract real outcomes and turn them into compelling, human-centered narratives
Partner closely with forward-deployed engineers, founders, and internal teams to understand product developments, deployments, and real-world impact—and translate these into the right content formats (e.g., case studies, customer spotlights, thought leadership, launch narratives)
Translate technical and operational work into clear, engaging, and credible content
Maintain a high bar for storytelling, clarity, and usefulness—AI should assist your thinking, not replace it
Design and build a repeatable content engine that connects company priorities, customer signal, content formats, and distribution channels
Structure and maintain core narratives, customer outcomes, and product developments so they can be easily turned into content
Build and operate AI-powered workflows that increase the speed, consistency, and scalability of content production
Develop systems (e.g., content pipelines, repurposing engines, tracking systems) that reduce manual work and increase leverage
Continuously improve how we go from raw inputs (calls, product updates, customer results) to published content
Own distribution across channels (LinkedIn, blog, website, etc.) and determine the right cadence, channels, and formats based on what is most effective
Repurpose core content into multiple formats to maximize reach and impact
Define and prioritize the content roadmap based on company priorities, product momentum, and market opportunities
Partner with leadership to shape voice and presence, especially for founder-led content
Track performance at a high level and refine approach based on what resonates
You take ownership of outcomes, not just tasks
You are highly organized and capable of structuring ambiguous inputs into clear systems and processes
You are a strong storyteller and communicator, able to turn complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives
You are comfortable working directly with customers, operators, and technical teams to extract insight
You move quickly, iterate often, and don’t get stuck trying to make everything perfect
You think in systems and instinctively look for ways to make processes more efficient and scalable
You already use AI tools deeply in your work and have built workflows or systems that meaningfully increase your leverage
Demonstrated ability to create high-quality content that communicates complex ideas clearly
Proven experience building or operating systems that improve content production, organization, or distribution
Hands-on experience using AI tools to build workflows, automate processes, or meaningfully augment your output (not just drafting assistance)
Strong organizational skills and ability to structure information across multiple domains (e.g., messaging, customer outcomes, content pipelines)
Comfort working cross-functionally and interacting directly with external stakeholders (e.g., customers)
Ability to operate with high autonomy in a fast-moving, ambiguous environment
Willingness to travel as needed for customer engagement, on-site content development (e.g., interviews, video shoots), and occasional conferences or events
SF-based, in-office 3+ days per week. We offer relocation!
Note: We care much more about demonstrated capability and ownership than specific years of experience or traditional titles.
