Skills
- Backend development experience (Ruby on Rails, Golang, or similar)
- Experience with data pipelines and orchestration (e.g., Airflow) and modern data stacks
- API design and integration experience
- Familiarity with databases, event streams, and data warehouses
- Metrics-driven product mindset and experimentation experience
- Ability to work cross-functionally with marketing and analytics teams
Responsibilities
- Build and scale backend services, APIs, and data pipelines powering paid acquisition and marketing systems
- Develop and maintain integrations with ad platforms (Meta, Google, TikTok, affiliates) including conversion APIs and reverse ETL
- Design and implement measurement systems for LTV, CAC, attribution, and incrementality
- Partner with marketing, data science, analytics, and product to improve acquisition efficiency and campaign performance
- Prototype and iterate on experiments to improve conversion and downstream user quality
- Improve reliability, scalability, and observability of data and backend systems
- Analyze post-launch system and campaign performance to inform optimizations
- Contribute to technical excellence via code reviews, mentorship, and best practices
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
