Responsibilities
- Analyze user and system requirements to derive software design and performance specifications
- Design, code, test, and modify software to add features or fix defects
- Debug existing software and correct defects across the stack
- Integrate existing software into new or modified systems and operating environments
- Develop data queries and work with databases or data repositories
- Write and review software and system documentation, and recommend process improvements
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure requirements are met
- Support software development lifecycle activities and adhere to program standards
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related discipline from an accredited institution (required) or equivalent experience
- Alternative: 4+ years of additional software engineering experience may substitute for the Bachelor’s degree
