- Distributed systems, cloud infra (AWS), autoscaling and capacity planning
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, inference latency, batching and prompt engineering
- Incident response and SEV mitigation
Responsibilities
- Own platform-level performance programs spanning desktop, browser, native mobile and WASM contexts
- Define and execute performance prevention and diagnostics strategies (load, stress, endurance, interference)
- Lead observability, telemetry, and performance CI/regression prevention initiatives
- Coordinate safe rollout and SEV mitigation for AI features and flagship product changes
- Partner cross-functionally with Product, Platform, Performance, Product Support, and Customer Engineering
- Integrate performance tests into CI/CD pipelines and automate regression detection
- Drive capacity planning, autoscaling strategies, and incident response for performance issues
- Plan and run customer/enterprise load tests and readiness activities
Education
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field, or equivalent experience
- Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in relevant field is a plus but not required
