This role can be based in San Francisco, CA or Mountain View (South Bay), CA. 

We are looking for a Strategic Finance Senior Associate (LMS) to join our team in leading our top and bottom-line impact through objective analysis, operational insights, and strategic initiatives. This person will focus on a number of business-wide initiatives including but not limited to product GTM, Partnerships strategy, operating model redesign, and long-term strategic planning to support growth of LinkedIn Marketing Solutions – our ads business. 

Responsibilities: 

Strategic Thinking 

• Learns to identify new opportunities for growth within a limited scope and supports strategy development with business partners.  
• Validates and executes pressure testing of growth opportunities.  
• Operationalizes ideas and develops plans for execution with some support from more senior team members. 
• Builds collaborative relationships with other teams and seeks input and feedback to develop an understanding of their priorities and constraints. 

Stakeholder Influence 

• Communicates implications of work (e.g., forecasts, analyses, trends) to senior cross-functional stakeholders to drive action.  
• Leverages insights and data to develop narratives to influence stakeholders with limited guidance.  

Execution & Organization 

• Partners with cross-functional stakeholders to support the growth of initiatives by providing a metrics- oriented perspective, with minimal supervision.  
• Exercises judgment within defined procedures to develop workstreams and operational processes.  
• Proactively identifies obstacles and works to unblock them with minimal support. 

Performance Management 

• Access, transform, and synthesize data from cross-platform data sources and analyze to assess signals, trends, and risks. 
• Executes ad hoc analyses to prove/disprove hypotheses and address ambiguous or complex business questions, deriving actionable insights from results.  

Culture and Values 

• Contributes to the culture and values of the organization including diversity, inclusion, and belonging, through organization-wide events and initiatives.  
• Proactively seeks out feedback and provides constructive feedback to colleagues.  
• Seeks out new opportunities for career growth and skill development. 

Basic Qualifications 

• Bachelor's Degree in Business, Business Analytics, Finance, or related field AND minimum 3 years of experience in management consulting, investment banking, strategy & ops or related field OR equivalent experience. 

Preferred Qualifications 

• 1+ year of experience in the technology industry.

LinkedIn is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices.

The pay range for this role is $98,000 to $158,000. Actual compensation packages are based on several factors that are unique to each candidate, including but not limited to skill set, depth of experience, certifications, and specific work location. This may be different in other locations due to differences in the cost of labor.
