Leasing & Marketing Manager, New Development | Rambler - College Park, MD

Are you a leasing professional who lives for all things leasing and marketing? Have you had success as an on-the-ground leasing professional and are wondering “what’s next?” Are you looking to grow your career and work with an energetic, fast-growing development and management company?

If so, we’re looking for you to lead the charge as our Leasing & Marketing Manager for our premier student housing development opening in 2027.

The right candidate for this position will be energetic, organized, and curious with a passion for all things sales, marketing, and leasing, and a track record of building strong teams. In this role, you will work alongside the Community Manager to ensure the leasing success of the property and exceed occupancy targets.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES

Leasing & Outreach

  • Lead pre-leasing initiatives and utilize advanced techniques like "assignment selling" to drive leasing velocity.
  • Generate and approve leases daily, ensuring timely communication and 100% data accuracy on the master sheet.
  • Spearhead conversations with campus organizations to secure group blocks and build long-term partnerships.
  • Host coffee dates and leasing events to build and nurture relationships with campus influencers and brand ambassadors.
  • Complete weekly follow up audits and parking to maintain operational excellence.

Marketing & Brand Awareness

  • Collaborate on marketing initiatives, including community events and awareness campaigns that bring the brand to life.
  • Direct the social media strategy, holding the creative team accountable for high-impact content and cohesive messaging.
  • Manage the Brand Ambassador program, ensuring consistent field marketing and DM outreach across all platforms.
  • Complete the market survey and other deliverables to ensure every prospect experience is exceptional and goals are met.

Collaboration & Communication

  • Lead and coach Leasing & Marketing Assistants (LMAs) on effective sales strategies to hit and exceed occupancy goals.
  • Lead weekly team meetings and participate in company training programs to refine skills and stay aligned with best practices.
  • Maintain regular communication with the Community Manager and ownership to share updates and strategize for leasing success.

Other Responsibilities

  • Assist with other duties and special projects as assigned.
  • Availability to work evenings and weekends as needed.
  • 3+ years of property management experience, specifically within student housing or new development.
  • Working knowledge of property management software; Entrata is preferred.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Suite.
