Responsibilities
- Drive delivery of messaging features and onboarding experiences for Firefox across Windows, macOS, and Linux
- Balance short-term delivery with long-term technical maintainability and quality
- Define scope, risks, timelines and communicate project status to stakeholders and leadership
- Create and iterate on engineering processes to support a high-performing, distributed team
- Conduct regular 1:1s, provide feedback, mentor, and support professional growth of engineers
- Own hiring and hiring practices for the team; build inclusive, diverse teams
- Collaborate with Product, UX, QA, Operations, and Data Science to ensure roadmap success
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Continued professional development in engineering management, product, or relevant technical areas
