Director of Operations

ScribeConcepts is a growing business services company seeking a seasoned Director of Operations to lead day-to-day internal business functions including HR operations, financial operations support, systems administration, and process management. The ideal candidate brings strong people leadership, operational discipline, financial awareness, and systems thinking to translate strategic direction into reliable workflows, reporting, and team execution across a fully remote organization.

Responsibilities

  • Provide people-first leadership that supports learning, growth, accountability, and upskilling while preserving company policy and culture.
  • Translate strategic operational direction into clear systems, workflows, and team execution.
  • Oversee HR operations including payroll, benefits administration, hiring workflows, and employee lifecycle processes.
  • Lead financial operations support including financial workflows, reporting, and coordination with accounting functions.
  • Manage company systems and operational infrastructure (e.g., SmartSheet, QuickBooks, Ramp, Gusto, Greenhouse).
  • Design, document, and improve operational processes and reporting structures for clarity and efficiency.
  • Maintain operational transparency and cross-functional coordination across the organization.
  • Supervise direct reports including the Business Accounting Manager and Human Resources Generalist.
  • Collaborate with senior leadership and report to the Senior Director of Business Operations.
  • Support necessary travel as required for company needs.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, operations management, HR management, finance, or related field preferred
