Software Engineer (Platform Team)
Skills
- Experience developing production software systems (platform, backend, or full stack)
- Hands-on experience with Docker containers and container-based gateways/proxies
- Familiarity with multi-provider integrations (cloud compute + frontier model providers)
- Knowledge of MLOps, model onboarding, and compute orchestration for large-scale AI
- Proficiency in Python; experience with additional languages (Go, Java, TypeScript) is valuable
- Understanding of security-first architecture, observability, and infrastructure-as-code
Responsibilities
- Design, build, and operate secure, scalable AI platforms, gateways, and proxy systems used across the company
- Own the full lifecycle of platform features: design, testing, deployment, monitoring, and continuous improvement
- Onboard new models and integrate multiple compute and model providers into platform workflows
- Optimize proxy efficiency for logging, control, security, and cost across managed compute
- Develop automation and tools that mitigate business risk (e.g., AI-powered code review and PR assistants)
- Drive adoption by creating shared prompts, skills, documentation, and directly supporting engineering teams
- Collaborate with stakeholders to understand needs and connect AI to real tools and workflows
Education
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, computer engineering, or other engineering discipline, OR
- 2+ years of professional experience building production software in lieu of a degree
