Sygaldry Technologies is building quantum-accelerated AI servers to exponentially speed up training and inference for AI. By integrating quantum and AI, we're accelerating the path to superintelligence, and addressing the problem of rising compute costs and energy bottlenecks. Sygaldry AI servers combine multiple qubit types within a single, fault-tolerant architecture to deliver the combination of cost, scale, and speed necessary for advanced AI applications. We pioneer new domains in physics, engineering, and AI, tackling the hardest challenges with a grounded, optimistic, and rigorous culture. We're looking for individuals ready to define the intersection of quantum and AI and drive its profound global impact.
About the Role
Our teams work closely together, research scientists developing quantum algorithms, systems engineers building the product, and a GTM team engaging frontier labs and industry partners. This role is the technical thread that runs through all of them. You'll work with the AI & Algorithms team to understand what the research produces, with the product and systems teams to shape simulation requirements and architecture decisions, and with the GTM team to turn technical results into materials that drive partnerships. You write real code, working inside simulation codebases, building automated analysis pipelines, and producing the technical outputs that external audiences see. You'll use agentic AI tools extensively to move fast, but you need the coding fundamentals to work directly with complex simulation infrastructure.
What You’ll Work On
Simulation & Analysis Pipelines
Work directly with datacenter simulation frameworks: extract results, build post-processing pipelines, generate formatted outputs
Build automated pipelines that transform analytical projections into charts, tables, and slide-ready assets
Maintain authoritative projection datasets for quantum advantage across frontier AI model architectures
Write tools that make simulation results reproducible and auditable
Work with Quantum Algorithm experts to translate quantum resource analysis into inputs for classical simulation pipelines
Technical Content & Materials
Produce performance charts, architecture diagrams, and comparison tables from simulation and analysis data
Support white paper production with technical content, figures, and data validation
Build and maintain dashboards tracking performance projections and simulation milestones
Product & Partner Engineering
Work with the systems engineering team to translate simulation results into product requirements and architecture decisions
Produce materials for partner meetings and conference presentations
Support demo prototypes that showcase simulation and product capabilities
Coordinate across the AI team, product team, and GTM team to ensure technical outputs are timely and accurate
You May Be a Good Fit If You
Write code daily -- pipelines, scripts, and tools, not just slide decks
Translate complexity into clarity without losing accuracy
Are quantitatively comfortable -- these are physics and math-heavy projections, not marketing copy
Use AI tools aggressively but know their limits
Move fast - partner meetings, conferences, and white paper deadlines don't wait
Are curious about the underlying systems -- you want to understand how the simulation works, not just its outputs
Strong Candidates May Have
Solid Python programming (this is an engineering role, not an analyst role)
Experience with simulation frameworks, benchmarking infrastructure, or performance analysis tools (ASTRA-sim, gem5, or similar)
Data pipeline construction (ETL, automation, post-processing workflows)
Data analysis and visualization (plotly, matplotlib, pandas)
Interactive notebook experience (marimo, Jupyter) for analysis and presentation
Technical writing ability (white papers, technical summaries)
ML/AI domain knowledge (training, inference, model architectures, distributed systems)
Experience producing technical materials for enterprise partnerships or investor relations
Background in solutions engineering, technical program management, or applied systems engineering
How We’re Different
At Sygaldry, curiosity and intellectual courage drive our work. We approach ambitious challenges with a grounded, optimistic, and rigorous culture and know that kind people build the strongest teams. We prioritize mission over ego and collaborate openly with a strong sense of shared purpose. We dream big, yet we execute with a love of detail. We’re looking for scientists, engineers, and operators to forge new paths with us at the intersection of quantum and AI.
