Think Together is seeking a Marketing & Communications Intern to support various marketing tasks and campaigns while gaining valuable experience in a nonprofit environment. This role is ideal for college students who are passionate about education and community service.
Responsibilities: Assist with marketing campaign coordination, generate content, coordinate program site visits, and collaborate on various marketing projects.
Skills: Strong written and oral communication skills, attention to detail, familiarity with remote work tools, and a passion for education.
Qualifications: Candidates must be at least a rising junior or senior pursuing a bachelor's degree, with a strong desire to grow professionally and work collaboratively.
Location: Hybrid, with an average of one day in office weekly and occasional visits to program sites in Santa Ana, CA.
Compensation: $22 - $22 / Hourly

Interns will be placed with a department in Think Together’s Home Office based on their academic background, professional skills, interests, and goals. Under the mentorship of designated staff members, interns will work both independently and collaboratively with their departments on projects that support Think Together’s mission and operations. Interns will gain a broad understanding of how a particular department functions within the context of a large nonprofit organization and will develop skills and knowledge related to their academic and professional goals. Interns will also have opportunities to attend regular staff speaker series and professional development sessions. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS: • Bachelor’s degree in progress – Candidates must be at least a rising junior or senior in college, having completed at least 2 years of undergraduate coursework. • Strong attention to detail and excellent written and oral communication skills • Desire to work collaboratively, with an openness to feedback and desire to grow professionally • Passion and enthusiasm for education, nonprofit administration, and/or community service. COMPUTER SKILLS:• Familiarity or comfort with remote/hybrid work tools such as: Outlook, Microsoft 365 Suite, Zoom/MS Teams, cloud sharing • Use of typical office equipment WORK ENVIRONMENT: • Moderate Noise (examples: typical office noise) • Stand, Walk, Sit (in general office environment) • Computer Screen visual in performance of role • Lift up to 10 pounds • Travel up to 10%
