Silicon Operations Manager
Skills
- Deep understanding of semiconductor manufacturing, test, and product lifecycle management
- Experience in parametric and functional test development and characterization
- Strong failure analysis and FMA experience in lab and production test environments
- Proficiency with manufacturing metrics, yield analysis and continuous improvement methodologies
- Experience managing external vendors (foundries, OSATs) and procurement coordination
- Familiarity with DOE, FMEA and Six Sigma problem-solving approaches
- Excellent communication and cross-functional leadership skills
Responsibilities
- Coordinate transition of tests from lab to production environments and deploy production test programs
- Develop, debug, qualify, and deploy test programs to meet customer requirements
- Drive yield optimization activities and continuous improvement initiatives
- Manage RMA procedures, returns, and provide first-line support for yield/customer issues
- Lead failure analysis efforts and root-cause investigations for complex product issues
- Serve as primary interface with external semiconductor vendors (OSATs, foundries)
- Lead cross-functional teams in operations, engineering, quality, supply chain and planning to meet production KPIs
- Develop and execute qualification activities including prototypes, engineering samples and qualification builds
- Oversee BOM accuracy, SKU management and internal production systems
- Design experiments (DOE) and analyze data to debug and resolve product failures
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Materials Science, Physics, or related technical field required
- Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in a relevant discipline preferred
