Skills
- Expertise with Databricks and related Data+AI tooling (2+ years)
- Proficiency in Python and ML frameworks (PyTorch/TensorFlow)
- Hands-on experience with LLMs, embeddings, RAG, fine-tuning, and agent workflows
- Designing scalable distributed systems for medium-to-large data workloads
- Experience implementing ML/AI CI/CD, monitoring, and observability
Responsibilities
- Architect, build, and deploy GenAI models, agentic systems, and ML pipelines across the Databricks stack
- Design and implement data preprocessing, feature engineering, training, fine-tuning, hyperparameter tuning, and evaluation workflows
- Develop scalable backend systems, logging, telemetry, and evaluation harnesses for production GenAI services
- Lead technical initiatives, provide technical leadership across distributed teams, and mentor engineers
- Collaborate with product, data, and platform teams to deliver AI-driven product features (Agents, RAG, SQL agents, MCP)
- Drive improvements to engineering processes, incident/configuration management, and operational reliability
- Represent engineering in customer or stakeholder technical discussions and manage escalations
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- Advanced degree (MS/PhD) in ML/AI or related discipline preferred
