- Production leadership in high-volume mixed-product environments
- Experience with ERP and MES systems (NetSuite, JIRA, Anduril MES)
- New product introduction (NPI) to scaled production expertise
- Ability to interpret mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and work instructions
- LEAN manufacturing, 5S, and change management (ECOs)
- Process and equipment troubleshooting
- Strong written and verbal communication and reporting skills
- Experience supporting process development and continuous improvement
- Active U.S. Secret security clearance
Responsibilities
- Manage technician staff in production and delivery of hardware through factory acceptance, including prioritizing equipment and people on the production line
- Set daily priorities and direct operations, issuing and ensuring completion of work orders
- Enforce safety procedures, document EHS incidents, correct workplace hazards, and maintain current safety training
- Coach, mentor, and develop production technicians and promote cross-training
- Prioritize operator activities to meet on-time delivery goals and maintain quality standards to prevent defects
- Prepare high-level reports for Production Managers, Directors, and Head of Manufacturing
- Lead and participate in 5S and continuous improvement activities
- Execute daily transactions in production systems (NetSuite / JIRA / Anduril MES)
- Coordinate cross-functionally with engineering, supply chain, logistics, and quality to maintain accurate inventory and resolve blockers
- Provide daily pass-downs and weekly production reports outlining progress, risks, and needs
- Build a positive team culture focused on product knowledge, skills development, and sustained urgency
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Technical certificate or associate degree in a technical field preferred
