Skills
- 7+ years of C++ or Rust development in Linux environments
- Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, concurrency, and performance optimization
- Experience with robotics subsystems: perception, planning, localization, mapping, or controls
- Hands-on experience integrating sensors and embedded platforms
- Proven ability to lead projects and mentor engineers
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain core robotics libraries and services (transformations, targeting, guidance, etc.)
- Own end-to-end feature development for complex systems including sensor selection, perception architecture, motion planning, and health management
- Implement scalable subsystems: sensor processing, perception, tracking, motion planning, anomaly detection, simulation, and test infrastructure
- Integrate and test software with internal and 3rd-party robotic hardware platforms
- Collaborate with operational SMEs to refine requirements and iterate toward production designs
- Troubleshoot and analyze remotely deployed software systems; drive on-call support and bug resolution
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Robotics, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Mechatronics, EE, Mathematics, Physics, or equivalent experience (required)
- Master’s degree in a related field (preferred)
