Market President

DLP Bank is expanding its presence in the Lehigh Valley and seeks a Market President to build a local banking franchise, drive loan and deposit growth, lead a high-performing team, and establish a full-service branch within 2–3 years. The role combines entrepreneurial market leadership with strong community engagement, credit expertise, and operational discipline.

Skills

  • Proven commercial banking and leadership experience in producing and managing relationships
  • Advanced underwriting, credit risk assessment, and loan structuring skills
  • Track record of generating significant new loan and deposit business
  • Strong strategic planning, financial discipline, and performance management
  • Excellent written and verbal communication and senior stakeholder influence
  • Ability to recruit, coach, and develop high-performing teams
  • Knowledge of banking products, services, operations, and regulatory environment
  • Comfort operating in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment

Responsibilities

  • Drive loan, deposit, and fee income growth through active origination and relationship management
  • Serve as senior market leader accountable for market profitability and operational excellence
  • Recruit, mentor, and retain producing managers and relationship teams
  • Translate enterprise strategy into local execution and meet branch financial goals
  • Manage budgeting, forecasting, and market performance monitoring
  • Ensure compliance with bank policies, regulatory requirements, and strong risk management
  • Represent the bank in the community and cultivate referral partnerships and centers of influence
  • Lead initiatives to open a full-service branch within 2–3 years and embed customer-centric service

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Relevant banking/commercial finance background; advanced degree a plus
