Pros
Galvanize was a great place to work. Beautiful building on market street. Tons of great food everywhere. Lots of events and opportunities to network and/or meet friends. I got a long with pretty much everyone that worked there Very rewarding work, teaching people. I built multiple relationships I still contact 6 yeas after graduating and working there.Cons
It is a school, so there is a certain level of chaos that comes with teaching especially the long hours at a coding bootcamp. Galvanize was part of multiple mergers and purchases over the short time I was working there, it was hard to keep up with and the constant transition was a little bit of a hassle. I also know it's definitely changed a lot since I was there. Not a lot of room to move up, salary was decent but not worth it for the skill level needed to be an instructor.
