Account Manager Communities, WEST

ID.me is a high-growth digital identity company providing secure identity verification for government, healthcare, and consumer brands. The Account Manager, Communities is a senior, quota-carrying role responsible for retention, renewals, and expansion of strategic commercial and eRetailing accounts focused on community verification segments (e.g., Military, Students, First Responders). The role requires strong commercial acumen, consultative selling, and cross-functional collaboration to drive net revenue retention and long-term account growth.

Skills

  • 5+ years in quota-carrying account management, customer success, or enterprise sales
  • Deep understanding of e-commerce, MarTech, and performance marketing stakeholders
  • Proven track record of meeting retention and upsell quotas and managing ACVs of $100k–$1M
  • Experience navigating complex procurement and vendor management processes
  • Strong analytical skills to translate performance data into ROI and growth plans
  • Excellent executive communication and presentation skills
  • Cross-functional collaboration and stakeholder management

Responsibilities

  • Own quota and drive both renewal (GRR) and expansion (NRR) revenue for assigned Communities book of business
  • Execute land-and-expand strategies to identify white-space and increase product adoption across brands and subsidiaries
  • Lead end-to-end upsell cycles from discovery through contract amendment and close
  • Manage renewals proactively (starting ~180 days out) to prevent lapses and ensure on-time contract renewals
  • Monitor account health and mitigate churn by identifying at-risk customers early
  • Negotiate complex commercial contracts and multi-year master service agreements
  • Align with executive stakeholders (e-commerce, MarTech, performance marketing) and lead executive business reviews
  • Serve as voice of the customer to inform product roadmap and retail-specific feature needs
  • Collaborate with Solutions Consulting, Customer Success, and Marketing to ensure delivery and expansion

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
  • Relevant business, marketing, or sales certifications a plus
