Director, Sales

NICE is a market-leading, global software company focused on AI, cloud and digital solutions that deliver exceptional customer experiences and protect businesses. The Director of Sales will lead a defined strategic territory for NICE CXone, driving revenue, recruiting and developing sales talent, implementing sales strategies, and managing a team to exceed quotas while focusing on Financial Services and Insurance verticals.

Skills

  • Proven sales leadership and team-building experience
  • Strong sales forecasting and pipeline management skills
  • Contract negotiation and deal-structuring expertise
  • Experience selling large, complex enterprise deals
  • Background selling into Financial Services and/or Insurance verticals
  • Channel development and partner management experience
  • Comfortable in fast-paced, growth-oriented environments
  • Strong analytical, financial and data-driven decision-making skills
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and customer-facing skills
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and sales tools

Responsibilities

  • Achieve or exceed regional sales targets and revenue goals in partnership with the VP of Sales
  • Recruit, select, onboard and train inside and outside sales talent
  • Drive accurate sales forecasting and pipeline management
  • Negotiate profitable contracts, terms and deal structures
  • Align messaging and campaigns with the lead generation team to increase pipeline
  • Manage and overcome prospect objections throughout complex sales cycles
  • Maintain deep knowledge of NICE product lines (CXone) and leverage to create opportunities
  • Develop new revenue opportunities in new and existing accounts
  • Train the sales team on managing complex, enterprise-level sales processes
  • Build collaborative corporate and field team strategies for sales execution
  • Support sale and closure of national/house accounts
  • Coach, mentor and develop the sales team to hit performance targets
  • Travel up to ~50% for customer meetings, field engagements and team activities

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Communications, Marketing or equivalent experience (required)
  • Master’s degree in Business Management or Marketing preferred
