Senior Account Executive, Campus

Axon is a mission-driven company building devices and cloud software to protect life. The Senior Account Executive, Campus will lead strategic growth across a high-value, multi-state territory focused on higher education and K-12, driving long-term regional strategy, complex enterprise sales motions, and influencing cross-functional teams to scale revenue and customer adoption.

Skills

  • Proven success closing complex, long-cycle enterprise deals
  • Territory planning and strategic account management
  • Executive-level communication and relationship building
  • Deal structuring and financial conversation skills
  • Advanced Salesforce (or equivalent CRM) proficiency and forecasting discipline
  • Cross-functional influence and stakeholder management
  • Comfort with significant travel (minimum ~50%)

Responsibilities

  • Own and execute a multi-year strategic plan for a large, high-impact territory aligned to company priorities
  • Drive enterprise-level expansion within existing accounts and penetrate net-new campus systems
  • Lead complex, multi-product sales cycles (often 9–18+ months) with executive stakeholders and cross-functional teams
  • Orchestrate internal resources (Sales Engineering, Product, Legal, Major Accounts) to close large-scale deals
  • Develop executive-level account strategies mapping stakeholders, budget cycles, and adoption paths
  • Provide accurate forecasting and maintain disciplined pipeline and CRM hygiene (Salesforce)
  • Represent Axon at industry events and provide market feedback to influence product and strategy
  • Mentor and elevate other sellers, sharing best practices and contributing to a high-performance culture

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience (preferred)
  • Relevant background in business, public safety, education, or related fields preferred
