Partner Account Manager - St. Louis

Human Interest is a high-growth fintech on a mission to expand access to retirement benefits for employees at small and medium-sized businesses. The Partner Account Manager will own and grow strategic referral partnerships (tech partners, HCM partners, brokers, CPAs, financial advisors) to drive lead generation and revenue for the SMB retirement business.

Skills

  • 2+ years building and maintaining partnerships with tech/HCM partners, brokers, CPAs, or financial advisors in the SMB space
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding quota in a sales or business development environment
  • Strong communication, relationship building, and interpersonal skills
  • Comfortable using Salesforce or similar CRMs to manage sales cycles
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Able and willing to be in the field approximately 3 days per week

Responsibilities

  • Develop, build, and amplify referral relationships with tech partners, HCM partners, benefit brokers, CPAs, and financial advisors focused on SMBs
  • Create and expand strategic referral networks and partnership programs to generate leads and new business opportunities
  • Define partner business goals and performance metrics (pipeline depth, revenue) and execute go-to-market and demand-generation strategies
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Product, Marketing, Legal, and Finance to resolve partner issues and deliver solutions
  • Partner with Partner Marketing to design and run initiatives (events, email, webinars) that drive partner sales
  • Manage partner pipeline and track performance against quota and KPIs
  • Travel to the field ~3 days per week to meet partners and support on-the-ground initiatives

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred but not required; equivalent experience accepted
  • Relevant sales, business, or finance certifications are a plus
