Manager, Sales Development

Ping Identity is a leading provider of cloud identity and access management solutions that help enterprises deliver secure, seamless digital experiences. The Sales Development Manager will lead a team of SDRs to cultivate and qualify prospects, build pipeline, and partner closely with account executives, marketing, and operations to scale revenue generation and develop sales talent.

Skills

  • 2+ years management experience in Sales, Sales Development, or Inside Sales within technology
  • Proven experience growing and scaling SDR teams
  • Strong knowledge of outbound prospecting methodologies and tools
  • Proficiency with Salesforce and basic Excel reporting
  • Experience with sales engagement and intent tools (SalesLoft, ZoomInfo, 6sense a plus)
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across organizational levels and functions

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage an SDR team of ~10 to meet and exceed targets in meetings, opportunities, and pipeline.
  • Mentor, coach, and develop SDRs on an individual basis to accelerate career growth and performance.
  • Create and refine SDR best practices, messaging, objection handling, and outbound playbooks.
  • Manage hiring, onboarding, training, and ongoing motivation of SDR talent.
  • Monitor, analyze, and refine lead processes and performance metrics for continuous improvement.
  • Use Salesforce and sales engagement tools to manage leads, reporting, and forecasting.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Sales, Marketing, Sales Operations, Product Marketing, and Customer Success.

Education

  • Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
  • Relevant sales leadership or management training considered a plus
