San Francisco, CA
Hybrid 3-Month Contract (with possibility of extension)
Metriport is an open-source data intelligence platform that helps healthcare organizations access and exchange patient data in real-time. We integrate with all major US healthcare IT systems and tap into comprehensive medical data for 300+ million individuals.
We've found product-market fit with multi-million ARR, 100+ customers (including Amazon, Strive Health, and Weight Watchers), backing from top VCs, and years of runway. We're ready to scale. We're a tight-knit, high-performing team of mostly former founders (including YC alumni). We're engineering-heavy, operate with minimal bureaucracy and high autonomy, and hire based on competence, not prestige. We push hard—founders work six days a week from our SF office—but give everyone freedom to craft their schedule. We measure output and we're committed to sustainable intensity.
We're looking for a Technical Sourcer to help us scale our team at the intersection of talent, technology, and healthcare. This is a high-ownership, high-activity role with real impact from day one.
If you love hunting down hard-to-reach candidates, running experiments to sharpen your pipeline, and owning the early stages of the hiring funnel — this role was built for you.
Sourcing & Outbound
Prospect relentlessly across LinkedIn, Juicebox, Gem, Ashby and emerging channels to identify top candidates for technical and non-technical roles
Craft personalized, high-conversion outreach and follow-up sequences across email, LinkedIn, and beyond
Build and maintain sourcing funnels that are organized, warm, and consistently full
Track response rates, test messaging variations, and continuously optimize what works
Leverage automation and AI tools to move faster and source smarter
Interviewing & Coordination
Qualify candidate interest, assess motivation, and route high-signal prospects to the right stakeholders
Schedule and coordinate initial calls between candidates and hiring managers
Talent Brand
Help manage our external hiring presence — job listings, social content, and job site profiles — to attract world-class talent
Experience: 2+ years of sourcing experience across both technical and non-technical roles, ideally at a startup or staffing agency
Technical fluency: Enough domain knowledge to understand our product and goals in the healthcare data and IT space — or the ability to ramp up quickly
Outbound mindset: You enjoy prospecting, following up persistently, and hitting targets without waiting for perfect direction
Strong communicator: Excellent written and verbal communication skills; you know how to get responses from busy, in-demand people
Data-driven: You measure what matters, adjust quickly, and are always looking to improve
Curious and coachable: You actively seek feedback, iterate fast, and thrive in ambiguity
Tool-savvy: Proficient with (or quick to learn) tools like LinkedIn Recruiter, Gem, Juicebox, Ashby, and similar platforms
Preferred: Prior experience sourcing for healthcare or healthcare IT organizations
This is a contract role:
Hybrid preferred; strong remote candidates will be considered.
