Contribute to the success of the design team by applying functional verification tools and techniques to Micron’s non-volatile memory designs, including advanced 3D NAND and other new technologies. Provide functional verification status to specific designs as needed. Work with Application Engineers to provide models to external customers for use in system validations. Manage project work. Communicate with Micron sites and Joint Ventures as well as provide training to Design and Product Engineers in the use of verification tools. Use testbench to create input vectors for simulations. Manage output of Verilog pass/fail result within a design margin. Write scripts to automate regression testing. Gather input from Design Team for projects; work with designers to find issues, and prevent future failures. Verify testbench environment has been setup before start of project. Proactively take on independent research to help develop leading-edge verification methodologies and design for verification techniques. Direct communication between all Micron sites and joint ventures. Direct the use of source code management system between all sites. Push out new testing methodologies as available. Coordinate and facilitate ongoing meetings. Think through design corner cases and write relevant cover points. Collaborate with digital design team to debug test cases and deliver functionally accurate designs. Provide instructional documentation on running flows. Manage internal and external designs, starting from spec, ensuring designs meet requirements. Develop and deploy patterns and regressions to increase the functional verification coverage for specific memory architectures. Perform full-chip functional verification on Micron’s non-volatile memory design projects. Understand design specs and develop verification plans for various designs. Develop testbench in System Verilog targeting complete functionality coverage. Develop test cases directed or randomly constrained to verify functionality. Run directed and constrained-random verification tests. Provide models used for standard Micron parts internally and externally. Partner with Application Engineers to assist with external customer system validation. Support System Verilog assertion and coverage-driven methodology. Support design verification methodology improvements. Close coverage metrics to identify verification holes and to show progress towards tape-out.
