Position Overview

This isn't your typical AE. The Account Executive, Technical Growth can build a bot, grow an online community, and close a deal, and they don't need a playbook to do it. We're looking for someone who thinks unconventionally about creator acquisition, gets their hands dirty to figure things out, and builds systems others haven't thought of. You won't wait around for leads; you'll invent new ways to find them. Equal parts technical operator and sales closer, with the emotional intelligence to back it up.

Key Responsibilities

Proactive Creator Acquisition

  • Hunt for creators through creative, technical channels, from Reddit communities and Discord servers to AI-powered outreach tools you've built yourself.

  • Don't wait for inbound leads; build systems that generate them. Flip the traditional sales funnel upside down.

  • Identify underserved creator communities and bring them onto Passes before the competition finds them.

  • Develop and execute acquisition strategies that no one else has tried, and measure rigorously to double down on what works.

Growth Automation & Tooling

  • Build and deploy bots, scrapers, automation workflows, and AI-powered tools to scale creator discovery and outreach.

  • Use data and technology to identify patterns in creator success and inform targeting and prioritization strategy.

  • Continuously experiment with new tools and approaches; share learnings with the broader team.

Community Intelligence

  • Monitor and participate in the online communities where creators build audiences: Reddit, Discord, X, and beyond.

  • Surface high-potential creators before they're on anyone else's radar.

  • Draw on your own experience growing communities to build credibility and rapport with the creators you recruit.

Onboarding & Relationship Management

  • Bring a technical lens to the creator onboarding experience, helping creators hit the ground running on Passes.

  • Build real, lasting relationships with the creators you recruit; your EQ matters as much as your technical chops.

  • Collaborate closely with Creator Success and Creator Support teams to resolve issues and ensure creator satisfaction.

Market Research & Competitive Analysis

  • Analyze creator platforms, competitive acquisition strategies, and emerging tools to stay ahead of the market.

  • Share insights with the team and contribute to evolving our go-to-market strategy.

  • Track recruitment metrics and optimize your approach with the same discipline you'd apply to an engineering problem.

Qualifications

  • Technical background: hands-on experience building bots, automation tools, scrapers, or AI-powered workflows.

  • Proven ability to drive growth through creative, unconventional methods; you've grown something (a community, an audience, a pipeline) from scratch.

  • Experience building or participating in online communities (Reddit, Discord, etc.) and understanding what makes them tick.

  • Strong sales instincts: you create your own pipeline and close deals with confidence.

  • High EQ alongside technical skills; you can read a room, build real relationships, and know when to stop talking.

  • Understanding of the creator economy, content monetization platforms, and what drives creator behavior.

  • Self-directed with a bias for action; you figure things out rather than waiting to be told how.

  • Comfortable with ambiguity; thrives in a fast-moving startup environment.

  • Proficiency in CRM software; bonus points if you've built your own outreach tooling.
