- Proficiency with HRIS systems: data management, reporting, troubleshooting, and process optimization
- Strong knowledge of employee lifecycle processes, recordkeeping standards, and HR compliance
- Experience coordinating payroll-related payments and system validation
- Ability to handle sensitive information with discretion and professionalism
- Excellent written and verbal communication and cross-functional partnership skills
Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end onboarding and offboarding processes, including trainings, background checks, and I-9 verifications
- Process employee lifecycle changes and maintain accurate employee records and certifications in the HRIS
- Respond to employee inquiries related to HRIS, policies, verifications, and maintain confidentiality
- Create and maintain intranet content, job aids, labor law postings, and updates to the employee handbook
- Partner with Payroll and Compensation on additional payments, system configuration, and annual merit testing
- Provide backup support for payroll and benefits activities including billing reconciliation and deduction imports
- Administer Guusto service anniversary platform and coordinate retirement/anniversary awards
- Prepare ad hoc and regulatory compliance reporting (e.g., EEOC, CA Pay Data) and recurring data requests
Education
- Bachelor’s degree required OR equivalent combination of education and relevant experience OR equivalent relevant experience
