Manager of Learning & Development

Robinhood is building the future of finance and seeks a seasoned Manager of Learning & Development to lead design, quality, and delivery of high-impact, scalable learning experiences across onboarding, compliance, skill-building, and leadership development. This role will manage a learning design team, partner with cross-functional stakeholders, define learning standards and processes, and use data and modern tools (including AI-enabled solutions) to measure and improve business impact.

Skills

  • Strong instructional design and curriculum development expertise
  • Deep knowledge of adult learning principles and multi-modal delivery
  • Experience with authoring tools, LMS administration, and learning technologies
  • Proven capability in learning measurement, evaluation, and data-driven improvement
  • Experience managing and coaching learning professionals
  • Ability to influence cross-functional stakeholders and manage complex priorities
  • Familiarity with AI-enabled learning tools and a lean approach to tool management
  • Experience supporting global programs and M&A learning integration (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and develop a learning design team, manage staffing, performance, and career growth
  • Design and deliver end-to-end learning experiences across compliance, onboarding, skill development, and leadership programs
  • Establish and evolve learning design guidelines, templates, and processes to ensure consistency and scalability
  • Maintain intake processes, scope L&D projects, and align program strategy with business needs
  • Conduct regular content quality audits to ensure accessibility, usability, and alignment to business outcomes
  • Administer authoring tools and vendor relationships, including procurement and seat management
  • Champion Robinhood's brand voice and learner experience across all learning content
  • Lead training evaluation using user research, assessments, and metrics to measure business impact
  • Support M&A integrations and international learning needs as required

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field (e.g., Education, Instructional Design, Organizational Psychology) or equivalent experience
  • Advanced degree (MA/MS) or certifications in L&D/instructional design preferred
