We’re looking for a strategic, hands on Head of People to lead and scale our People function. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will own the end-to-end employee lifecycle, partner closely with leadership on organizational strategy, and build the infrastructure needed to support a high-performing, global team.
This role is ideal for a builder-operator, someone who can think strategically while executing at a high level in a fast paced, evolving environment.Partner with the CEO and leadership team to define and execute a forward-looking People strategy aligned with business goals
Lead organizational design, workforce planning, and scaling initiatives
Coach and support managers to strengthen leadership capability across the company
Lead and develop the Talent Acquisition team;
Build scalable hiring processes to support rapid global growth
Strengthen Sauce’s employer brand to attract top-tier talent across regions
Design and implement scalable HR processes across the employee lifecycle, including:
Performance management
Compensation & benefits
Onboarding and employee experience
HR systems (HRIS)
Ensure processes are data-driven, efficient, and aligned with company growth
Oversee HR practices across multiple geographies, ensuring compliance with local labor laws and regulations
Partner with external vendors and internal stakeholders on global payroll, benefits, and contracts
Balance global consistency with local nuance
Foster a high-performance, feedback-driven culture
Act as a trusted advisor on employee relations, conflict resolution, and organizational health
Measure and improve employee engagement and retention
Build learning and development initiatives to support employee growth and career progression
Identify and retain high-potential talent
Drive initiatives that strengthen company culture during rapid scaling
8–12+ years of HR/People experience, including senior leadership roles in high-growth or global organizations
Proven track record of building and scaling HR functions in dynamic environments
Strong business acumen with the ability to translate company goals into People strategies
Hands-on and execution-focused, with the ability to operate at both strategic and tactical levels
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills; able to influence and build trust across all levels
Confident, decisive, and empathetic leader with high emotional intelligence
Experience managing global HR practices, including compensation, benefits, and labor law consideration
Scalable People infrastructure in place to support continued growth
