Senior Solution Engineer - Colorado

Tanium is an Autonomous IT company delivering real-time endpoint intelligence and security to large enterprises and governments. The Senior Solution Engineer will be a Colorado-based technical pre-sales leader who partners with Sales and Customer Success to run discovery, deliver platform demos and lead Proof of Value engagements that translate customer challenges into scalable Tanium solutions.

Skills

  • 6+ years in endpoint operations or security roles (operational or selling)
  • 4+ years customer-facing or customer support experience
  • Proven software pre-sales / value-based technical selling experience in large enterprises
  • Experience presenting to executive and technical audiences
  • Practical knowledge of endpoint security, IT operations management, and regulatory compliance
  • Familiarity with scripting for automation and integration
  • Strong verbal, written, and presentation skills
  • Ability to manage complex technical initiatives and ownership

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Sales from discovery through close to shorten sales cycles and improve win rates
  • Conduct discovery meetings, deliver platform demos, and lead technical Proof of Value (POV) engagements
  • Translate customer business and operational challenges into tailored Tanium solutions
  • Lead deep technical discussions with stakeholders from C-level to technical users
  • Collaborate with field engineering, Product, Marketing, and Customer Success to align tactical and strategic motions
  • Build and maintain strong customer, peer, and partner relationships
  • Present and speak at regional marketing events and conferences
  • Provide sales and channel enablement, including customer-facing training
  • Travel 30–50% to engage customers and prospects in person

Education

  • BS in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering or equivalent experience required
  • Advanced degree or equivalent experience preferred but not required
