Senior Technical Recruiter - Product Design and Engineering (Contract)

Anduril Industries is a private defense technology company building AI-powered command-and-control systems. They are seeking a Senior Technical Recruiter to own full-cycle hiring for Product Design and Software Engineering on the Software Platform team. The role requires hands-on recruiting, close partnership with hiring managers, use of Greenhouse ATS, and a data-driven approach to build diverse pipelines and close top technical talent.

Skills

  • 5+ years recruiting technical roles, with strong success in engineering and product design hires
  • Expert sourcing and pipeline-building skills across passive and active channels
  • Hands-on experience with Greenhouse (or similar ATS) and recruiting analytics
  • Strong stakeholder management and ability to set and manage expectations
  • Data-driven mindset focused on metrics, reporting, and continuous process improvement
  • Proven offer negotiation and closing experience in competitive markets
  • High collaboration and ability to operate independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience building diverse talent pipelines and inclusive hiring practices

Responsibilities

  • Lead full-cycle recruiting for technical roles across product design and software engineering at all levels
  • Partner with hiring managers and the talent acquisition team to define hiring needs and shape recruiting strategies
  • Design and refine interview processes and candidate evaluation techniques with interviewers and stakeholders
  • Source, engage, and build diverse candidate pipelines proactively
  • Manage candidate data and workflows in Greenhouse ATS and provide weekly/monthly recruiting reports
  • Use recruiting metrics and analysis to iterate on sourcing strategies and improve hiring outcomes
  • Own candidate and hiring-manager experience, ensuring clear communication and timely updates
  • Drive recruiting initiatives and process improvements across the recruiting team

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience in Human Resources, Business, Communications, or related field (or equivalent practical experience)
  • Recruiting or HR certifications are a plus but not required
