Partner Account Manager - Illinois

Human Interest is a high-growth fintech on a mission to expand access to retirement benefits for employees at small and medium-sized businesses. We are seeking a proactive Partner Account Manager to build, scale, and deepen referral partnerships (tech partners, HCM partners, brokers, CPAs, and financial advisors) to drive pipeline and revenue growth across SMB markets.

Skills

  • Proven track record building and managing partner/referral relationships in SMB markets
  • Quota-driven sales experience with demonstrated achievement
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities for stakeholder influence
  • Experience managing pipelines and forecasts in a CRM (Salesforce familiarity preferred)
  • Self-motivated, organized, and able to work independently in a fast-paced environment
  • Problem-solving orientation and ability to manage operational partnership issues
  • Comfortable with travel for partner engagement and field activities

Responsibilities

  • Develop, build, and amplify referral relationships with tech partners, HCM partners, benefit brokers, CPAs, and financial advisors in the SMB space
  • Create and grow strategic referral networks and partnership programs focused on lead generation and new business opportunities
  • Collaborate cross-functionally (Sales, Product, Marketing, Legal, Finance) to resolve partner issues and implement solutions
  • Partner with marketing to design and execute co-marketing and partner-led demand generation (events, webinars, email, educational initiatives)
  • Establish business goals and performance metrics with partners and execute go-to-market strategies to grow pipeline and revenue
  • Manage partner pipeline and activities in CRM to ensure accurate forecasting and quota attainment
  • Conduct field engagement and partner enablement; travel for in-person partner meetings and events as required

Education

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent professional experience preferred
  • Relevant sales, business, or marketing training beneficial
