Senior Manager, Sales

Justworks is a mission-driven HR platform helping businesses simplify payroll, benefits, and compliance. The company is seeking an experienced Senior Manager, Sales to lead multiple Account Executive teams in the Phoenix region, drive pipeline and forecasting rigor, own strategic deal execution, and steward a high-integrity regional sales culture while partnering cross-functionally with Finance and Underwriting.

Skills

  • Proven sales leadership managing managers in high-growth SaaS or HCM environments
  • Expert-level use of Gong and Salesforce for coaching, forecasting, and pipeline hygiene
  • Strong deal negotiation and complex deal-closing experience
  • Data-driven with ability to build and maintain regional dashboards and metrics
  • Clear, succinct communication and change management skills
  • Familiarity with PEO, international payroll, or complex insurance/benefits models (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coach managers and Account Executives through regular 1:1s, skip-levels, and regional forums to drive execution and change management
  • Own regional meeting rhythm (War Room, AE All-Hands) and maintain high-impact communication and accountability
  • Manage the health and accuracy of the regional funnel across products, ensuring clean CRM data and single source of truth dashboards
  • Design and direct multi-channel pipeline generation strategies, partnering with marketing and partnerships
  • Drive strategic deal strategy and underwriting execution; act as liaison with Finance, Workers’ Comp, and Health Underwriting
  • Serve as interim team leader when needed and make final hiring buy/no-buy decisions for regional headcount
  • Champion regional culture, recognize top performance, and represent Sales in cross-functional initiatives

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience
  • Advanced degree (MBA) preferred but not required
