Director, Enterprise Account Management

This role is a high-impact leadership position responsible for overseeing a growing team of Enterprise and Strategic Account Managers, driving retention, expansion, and long-term partnerships across complex enterprise clients. You will guide account strategies, executive engagement, and business value realization while fostering a high-performance culture. Collaborating with cross-functional teams such as Sales Operations, Product, Customer Support, and Implementation, you will help shape the customer experience from onboarding to renewal and expansion. The position offers the opportunity to scale account management programs, influence enterprise strategy, and contribute directly to revenue growth. Ideal candidates are strategic, data-driven, and excel at developing talent in a fast-paced SaaS environment.


Accountabilities:
  • Lead multiple geographically distributed teams of Enterprise and Strategic Account Managers, developing frontline managers and fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, and quota attainment
  • Drive retention, renewals, and account expansion across complex enterprise accounts while ensuring long-term customer partnerships
  • Guide the team in demonstrating business value, monitoring account health, identifying risks, and uncovering upsell opportunities
  • Recruit, hire, and coach top sales talent, establishing frameworks for career growth and skill development
  • Partner with Sales Operations, Product, Customer Support, and Implementation teams to improve the customer lifecycle and provide actionable customer insights
  • Serve as executive sponsor for strategic accounts, resolving escalations, negotiating major renewals, and building executive relationships
  • Develop scalable account management processes, operational playbooks, and data-driven insights to maximize revenue and efficiency

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in SaaS Account Management, enterprise sales leadership, or revenue-focused account leadership
  • 4+ years as a second-line leader managing multiple teams of enterprise-focused sellers or account managers
  • Proven success owning, retaining, and expanding revenue within complex enterprise and strategic accounts
  • Experience with Salesforce, sales analytics dashboards, and revenue forecasting
  • Strong operational and strategic acumen with the ability to scale account management programs effectively
  • Excellent communication and influencing skills, capable of working across multiple functions
  • Demonstrated ability to build, develop, and lead high-performing quota-carrying teams in fast-growing SaaS environments
