EVP, Market Development, Vitacorps

Corvias is a mission-driven organization focused on solving complex, systemic partner challenges and building resilient communities. The EVP, Market Development (Vitacorps) is a senior executive charged with leading DoD market strategy, driving revenue growth, securing and scaling Department of Defense contracts, and building strategic partnerships across a matrixed enterprise environment.

Skills

  • Proven success winning and scaling DoD contracts and multi-stakeholder programs
  • Deep familiarity with DoD acquisition, contracting structures, and compliance
  • Strong capture planning, proposal strategy, and pricing expertise
  • Ability to influence across matrixed organizations and political environments
  • Experience building partner ecosystems, joint ventures, and teaming arrangements

Responsibilities

  • Own and lead DoD market and contracts strategy, prioritizing services, commands, agencies, and defense organizations.
  • Drive end-to-end business development and capture efforts from opportunity identification through proposal and contract execution.
  • Align market development with lobbying and congressional engagement efforts to secure support.
  • Build and maintain senior-level relationships with DoD officials and defense industry partners.
  • Develop and execute integrated DoD go-to-market strategies aligned to enterprise growth objectives.
  • Translate defense market dynamics into actionable investment and growth priorities.
  • Create scalable, repeatable GTM processes while minimizing unnecessary bureaucracy.
  • Own revenue, pricing, deal structuring, and margin management for complex, multi-year contracts.
  • Establish and manage teaming arrangements, alliances, joint ventures, and partner ecosystems.
  • Navigate Legal, Compliance, Finance, Operations, Product, and Technology alignment across a matrixed organization.
  • Drive execution personally and foster a culture of accountability, speed, and mission focus.

Education

  • Bachelor’s degree required
  • MBA or advanced degree strongly preferred
